  1. Hi everyone,

  3. I just want to take a moment to mention what other add-ons are avialable
  4. for Tony LaRussa Baseball III and how they are packaged together.
  5.  
  6. The Ultimate Utilities.
  7. -----------------------
  8. Are made up of a series of add-ons that are integrated together through
  9. a point & click main menu. These include:
  10.  
  11. 1 -The General Manager Plus utility will:
  12.  
  13.     - Allow you to trade players from team to team, league to league
  14.       within a point & click environment.
  15.  
  16.     - Create a new player by cloning an existing player
  17.   
  18.     - Display individual player's real life and league stats.
  19.     
  20.     - As well as change some of the player's attributes.       
  21.         
  22.         - allow you to SYNC an minor league teamset with your major 
  23.           league one for player development.
  24.  
  25.         - supports a "holding" team for free agents.
  26.  
  27. 2 - TUTIL are a collection of programs designed specifically to be an
  28.     addition to the Tony LaRussa Baseball game. These utilties will allow
  29.     you to: 
  30.  
  31.     - Produce scouting, comparison, draft 0and roster type reports.
  32.     - Produce a league leaders report, check the standings etc.
  33.     - Keep track of your team's current win/loss streaks and
  34.       record against the other teams. Home/away record etc.
  35.     - Create/Modify/Report default lineups
  36.     - Adjust/Report on Player injuries.
  37.     - See what games are scheduled today and the scheduled starter.
  38.     - set up to 10 preset lineups for each team and dictate how often
  39.       each lineup will be used.
  40.         - use an 11 man pitching staff.
  41.         - set a 'spot starter' and assign pitching confidence levels.
  42.     - Print your teams line scores for the season so far.
  43.     - See how your team faired against other teams your league.
  44.     - a very flexible point and click ratings mass update program.
  45.     - a mass update utility for player ratings
  46.     - and much more.

  49. 3- League Scheduler (SCHEDULE). This utility will allows you to create
  50.    schedules for TONY3 in three ways:
  51.  
  52.        - By hand, in a point and click environment.
  53.        - From a text file
  54.        - a variation of an existing schedule.
  55.  
  56.        - not to mention the improved reporting and league selection
  57.      capabilities.
  58.       
  59.        - has the facility to enforce your wish on day game or night game.
  60.    
  61. These together make up my "Ultimate Utilitles" collection.

  63. Once you register any one of these, you are registered for all
  64. and will recieve the most recent versions of them. I will also post notices
  65. of any significant releases or updates. Typically the cost of the new version 
  66. will be just to cover postage & the price of a diskette, if you are unable    
  67. to obtain it from an online service.  See below:

  70. REMOTE MANAGER. 
  71. ---------------
  72. Designed especially for those who organize a fantasy baseball league using 
  73. TONY3. The remote manager will allow your managers to have more control over 
  74. their teams without you doing the work. REMOTE MANAGER will:
  75.  
  76.     - Allow your team managers to change pitching rotations and
  77.       lineups, move players from the active roster to the reserve list
  78.       on their own computer.  Your team managers can then upload a 
  79.       file which you can process using your part the REMOTE MANAGER to
  80.       make their changes effective.

  82.     - allow your team managers can also change the manager
  83.       profiles.
  84.  
  85.     - When used along with the my ENHANCED utilities, it will give your
  86.       team managers up to 10 lineups to use instead of the 2 limited
  87.       by TONY3.

  89.     - use an 11 man pitching staff.

  91.         - set a 'spot starter' and assign pitching confidence levels.

  94. Computerized General Manager- RoboGM
  95. ------------------------------------
  96. The Computerized General Manager is designed specifically to be an addon
  97. for the Tony LaRussa's Baseball game. This modest little utility will: 
  98.  
  99.     - Allow you to negoiate/arbitriate trades with a computerized GM.
  100.           Supports modes of Human GM, computer GM, rightside GM and
  101.           arbitartor.
  102.     
  103.     - Have the computer controlled teams trade with you or have them
  104.           trade with each other  
  105.       
  106.     - Support a wavier list and a place for free agents                            
  107.  
  108.     - Allow you release players or demote/recall them from your reserves
  109.  
  110.     - Sophisticaed Player Search facility, lets you create a list of players
  111.       you are interested in.
  112.      
  113.         - supports and team payroll limit
  114.  
  115. This utility by far took the most effort to develop. Between the programming
  116. of the computer AI which will take into account General Manager profile settings
  117. for each team, to resoloving the player links after the trade has taken place.
  118.  
  119. The latest version of RoboGM, now makes sure that rosters are full, no pitcher
  120. is in the lineup as a position player, all active bench players are registered
  121. and available. The initial RoboGM for Tony2, only took care of the GM part of it.
  122. Putting the player into the lineup or on the bench was the responsibility of 
  123. the manager. However, this caused some confusion and complaints about pitchers
  124. batting and playing, say right field. This area has been vastly improved in
  125. RoboGM for for Tony3.
  126.  
  127. Very few games allow you to trade a pitcher for a fielder. Boy, now I know
  128. why! . RoboGM lets TONY3 do this.
